We build the coding harness enterprises can trust

Symbiotic Security builds Symbiotic Code, the coding harness that secures AI-generated code and governs the agent that writes it.

Why we started Symbiotic

The more code AI writes, the more vulnerabilities it ships. Security teams were already struggling to fix everything their scanners found, and scanning after the fact and fixing later cannot keep up with code written at AI speed. That leaves enterprises with a bad choice: slow down AI adoption to keep risk in check, or let vulnerabilities pile up. We started Symbiotic to remove that choice.

Symbiotic Code checks and fixes code while the agent writes it, so your teams can scale code production with AI without slowing down or taking on more risk.

What we build

Symbiotic Code is a coding harness for AI-assisted development, with built-in security controls.

Secure code as it's writtenYour security policies go into the agent on every request. The code is scanned as it is written, and the agent keeps fixing until it passes.A governed agentThe agent runs in a sandbox under network and command policies, secrets stay out of the prompt, and its actions are auditable.Works where you workThe terminal, VS Code and JetBrains, GitHub and GitLab pull requests, and CI, all on the same policy.

Meet the founders

Two cybersecurity veterans who spent their careers on the detect-and-fix side, and decided it would not survive AI-scale code.

Jérôme Robert

CEO & Co-founder

Jérôme has a background in mathematics and cryptography, and has spent 22 years in cybersecurity, 15 of them as an executive, including several successful exits. He was CMO at Lexsi, which was acquired by Orange, and later ran North America for Alsid through its acquisition by Tenable. At Symbiotic, he leads the company's strategy, operations and go-to-market.

Édouard Viot

CTO & Co-founder

Édouard has spent 16 years in cybersecurity, the last seven in application security. He started in kernel-level security and reverse engineering and worked on public-sector offensive security projects, then was VP Product & Engineering at Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and CPO at GitGuardian, which he helped scale. At Symbiotic, he leads product and engineering.

One team, two cities: Brooklyn, NYC & Paris

Our offices are in Brooklyn, NYC and in central Paris, close to our customers and the security community.

The teams that invested in Symbiotic Security

We raised $13M in pre-seed and seed funding to build Symbiotic Code.
